NIST membership is free and members may opt out anytime. Membership benefits include:

• Subscription to NIST communications (e.g. newsletter, event announcements and teaching resources)

• Eligibility to vote for NIST leadership

• Eligibility to run for NIST leadership offices (given previous participation in at least one NIST program)
