The Concordia University (Saint Paul, MN) Department of Science invites applications for a tenure-track position in Biology to begin August 2019. Applicants must have or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Anatomy or the Biological Sciences.
Apply here: https://www.higheredjobs.com/clickthru/redirect.cfm?JobCode=176963272 The typical teaching load averages 12 credits per semester and will be comprised of lecture and laboratory courses in human anatomy and physiology, human gross anatomy, and related science courses based on expertise and department need. The selected candidate will primarily teach undergraduate courses, will teach one graduate-level anatomy course, and will support the University's cadaver lab through administrative teaching-related activities. Science faculty members are expected to be innovative in their teaching techniques to ensure student engagement and success. Faculty members are also expected to mentor students, interface with student lab assistants, maintain laboratory spaces and contribute to the scholarly work of the department. The Department of Science is a growing, dynamic department that offers majors in Biology (both B.A. and B.S.), Biochemistry (B.S.), and Chemistry (B.A.). Education and Experience Terminal degree required. Preferred Work Experience:
*College level teaching experience
*Experience (teaching or research) in human anatomy content
*Experience working with human cadavers, working in a cadaver lab
