Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana seeks a Biology Instructional Coordinator II who will coordinate and conduct instructional activities associated with Microbiology laboratories at the undergraduate and graduate level. The coordinator will act as an interface between faculty and student as well as prepare and administer exams and quizzes; will conduct help sessions and maintain grade rosters; and will coordinate daily laboratory operation. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field; two years experience in microbiology laboratory research and/or instruction; excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with a diverse group of students and faculty; ability to lift and carry 10 pounds frequently and 20 pounds occasionally; able to handle a flexible work schedule, that includes occasional evening exams and training. Preferred qualification include a Master's degree and supervision or administrative experience.
