Princeton University seeks an Assistant Director of Learning Programs Academic Support. Reporting to the Senior Associate Director (Learning Programs), and working closely with the other Learning Program Assistant Director, the incumbent will play a multi-faceted role in primarily undergraduate programming, but also graduate student learning support.

The Assistant Director will play a significant role in all major aspects of Learning Program administration including: needs assessment; development, design, and delivery of programming for students; program evaluation and reporting; staff training; and, publicity and outreach. A particular emphasis for this position is expertise in coordinating programs to support students in STEM disciplines through tutoring and related formats.

The successful candidate will take a leadership role in the Center's tutoring programs (including Study Hall and individual tutoring) and other STEM support which focuses on developing students’ knowledge, skills, and strategies necessary for success in the Princeton University context; participate in program administration and coordination, including hiring, scheduling, training and supervising 100-150 student staff (e.g., graduate student coordinator, tutors/peer educators, and administrative staff) using TutorTrac and Qualtrics, among other applications; create and maintain efficient systems for all aspects of program administration; and collaborate on key aspects of the Undergraduate Learning Program's communication strategy, including creating content for a weekly email newsletter, social media, email blasts, etc, among other responsibilities.

Required qualifications include an advanced degree, minimum 1-3 years educational development or teaching experience in STEM, record of effective program administration and collaboration in a university context, knowledge of learning and teaching in STEM disciplines, strong data collection, management, and analysis experience and skills (using Excel, Qualtrics, or similar), experience conducting trainings and workshops, experience working with faculty to administer academic support, excellent written and oral communication skills, and experience working independently on multiple projects simultaneously under firm deadlines.
